Energy Booster HeG-EB95.0
After biomass boiler 9.500 kw
By installing an EB95.0 heat recovery system at the existing 9,500 kW biomass boiler, the hot flue gases are additionally used thermally. When integrating the system into the existing building, the limited space available and the need for easy operation had to be taken into account. Furthermore, the flue gas routing was selected in such a way that the additional pressure loss was minimized. Due to the upright design of the heat exchanger tubes in contact with the flue gas, the maintenance effort during operation was minimized.
KEY Data:
- Base part, jacket tube Ø 1600 made of stainless steel 1.4571
- welded heat exchanger tubes made of stainless steel 1.4539
- Head section with flue gas outlet and cleaning opening made of stainless steel 1.4571
- heat output heat exchanger 764 kW (M48, 70 °C RL)
- automatic bypass control damper
- Engineering (VT design & construction)
- energy generated 6,500 MWh
- assembly & transport
- commissioning & training
Conslusion-findings:
- Energy Booster runs reliably throughout the heating season (without an intermediate cleaning)
- no noticeable increase in pressure drop
- hardly any power reduction noticeable
- stainless steel construction has proven itself, because condensate is produced during start-up and shut-down conditions
- with an upstream electrostatic precipitator, cleaning at the end of the season is sufficient
