With 7 heating plants, Bioenergie Tirol is one of the most important energy suppliers in the beautiful province of Tyrol. In 2018, the new building of the HBLFA Tirol in Rotholz resulted in an increased demand for heat, which was covered by the retrofitting of a 2-stage flue gas condensation system by the company Heger Edelstahl from Upper Austria. On the one hand, the required heat is provided by integrating a low-temperature direct line from the HBLFA into the condenser and, on the other hand, by using an economiser. As a result, the school is supplied to a large extent from recovered energy (heat that usually escapes into the environment without benefit). Heating engineer Johannes Dengg proudly shows off our flue gas condensation system.
