CONDENSATION MODULE
Condensation Module for Mercury Vapour Recovery
During the thermal treatment of mercury-contaminated soil, vapours are generated in a high-temperature dryer. These vapours are then condensed under vacuum conditions in this specially designed condensation module. The system primarily consists of vessels, heat exchangers, a vacuum pump and interconnecting piping.
The condensed mercury can be recovered and reused as a valuable resource – contributing to both sustainable material recovery and safe hazardous waste treatment.
