FLUE GAS CONDENSATION WITH PLUME REDUCTION FOR 1,500 kW BIOMASS BOILER
Type: HEG-CD-0150
By using the heat recovery unit HEG-CD-0150, the flue gas heat from a 1,500 kW biomass boiler is efficiently utilized and converted into valuable heating energy.
The moist flue gases are cooled in two stages – first in a smooth-tube heat exchanger, which directly delivers usable heat to the heating network, and then in a single-stage bimetal finned-tube LUVO. Here, the remaining residual heat is used to preheat ambient air.
The system not only increases energy efficiency but also improves flue gas treatment:
Thanks to the integrated plume reduction stage in the LUVO, effective plume suppression is achieved down to -5 °C / 95% relative humidity during full-load boiler operation (1,500 kW) and a return temperature of 50 °C (w45 condition).
